Burning Candles Safely

Candles were used in the past for light, now we use them for comfort, fragrance and the atmosphere they create. Please use your candles safely.

• DO NOT LEAVE BURNING CANDLES UNATTENDED.
• Keep candles out of the reach of children and animals.
• Don't close the lid of a burning or warm candle.
• Put your candles on heat resistant surfaces.
• Don't put candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
• Candle containers get very hot - be careful.
• Do not burn a container candle below 1/2" from the bottom. Once all the wax in the bottom of the container is melted your candle is finished.
• Trim candle wicks to 1/8" to prevent smoking.
• Don't leave wick trimmings, matches, etc. in the candle.
• Don't burn candles near drafts from windows, fans, etc.
• Do not put votives directly in wooden candle holders. Use a glass or metal candle holder.
